Venue and Seating Information

Perelman Theater is part of the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Its theater configuration is well suited to spoken-word performances, where clear sightlines and sound help audiences follow the details of a stand-up set. Check the seating map for the specific event to compare available locations, as configurations and inventory can vary.

For comedy, seats with a direct view of the stage can make it easier to catch facial expressions and physical delivery. Center sections are often a practical choice when available, while seats farther to the side may offer a more angled perspective. Review the event's seating chart before selecting tickets.

Parking Information

Parking availability, rates, and restrictions can change, so confirm current details with the facility before arriving. Options to consider include:

• Official Kimmel Center parking arrangements, if available for the event; verify access and pricing with the venue.
• Nearby Center City garages, which can provide covered parking within walking distance.
• Street parking, subject to posted meter hours, local restrictions, and limited availability.

Allow extra time for downtown traffic and garage entry, particularly around evening performances. Compare current rates and walking distances before choosing a lot, and avoid relying on unverified parking prices or spaces on event night.
